This week, March-ial Arts Month rolls on with a lesser known B-Action Movie! Terry McCain is part Chicago Cop, part Jazz Pianist, and full on badass who plays by his own rules! However, his cavalier police work gets him in hot water with his chief, and his brutual Interrogation tactics end up keeping Kingpin Sal Dimarco from being brought to justice. To make matters worse, some misplaced money involved in a drug bust put a target on the back of Terry and his partners. Just when he thinks he's had enough, an unexpected turn of events present a whole new crop of challenges for Terry McCain! It's Excessive Force this week on the Radkast!

This week on the show, we carry on kickin' with March-ial Arts Month! On this episode, Pro-Football All-Star and fast living Blade Steele must complete community service hours by teaching and looking after latchkey kids at a youth center. Little does he know, he'll be in for more than he bargained for when not only do the kids run all over him, he is also being guided by Bruce Lee sent from Heaven to reform and learn Karate. Blade, under the tutelage of blind Karate master Chozen Wan, learns the martial art, brings it to the children to learn, and finds that cleaning up his act is a good thing. His new skill comes in handy when he finds himself in the middle of a different San Francisco treat; a drug ring using kid's to sell and run by a man by the name of Hector Machete. Blade, Chozen Wan, and a cop named Antonelli make it their mission to take down Machete and to save the kids!

It's another obscure 90's movie, and it was funded by the D.A.R.E program! It's Kindergarten Ninja this week on the Radkast!

With the help of an agent from the department of family services, the girl's rocker male friends, and a dose of girl power, the group saves the school and wins the day! Its a film the studio mismanaged marketing for, got booted from theaters in a manner of weeks, then found new life on cable and home video...as it goes for so many cinema classics! However, when his eccentric father suprises him with a unique creature he's named Gizmo, he'll find that his and those around hims Christmas is about to be anything but holly and jolly. After getting wet, Gizmo multiplies into several other Mogwais, only these are little hell raisers. Once Billy disobeys the final rule of Mogwai care, not to feed them after midnight, the creatures turn into the grotesque and titular Gremlins and start wreaking havoc all over town. It's up to Billy, Gizmo, and Billy's love interest Kate to stop the monsters from ruining Christmas and the lives of their fellow residents.

This week on the show, it's the final entry in this year's Five Weeks of Fright! As Halloween inches ever closer, this episode we talk about a familiar character's own mishap with a Halloween Mask. Steve, one of the bullies from the first Haunted Mask, is upset that he's getting older, life is passing him by, and pretty soon he'll be too old for Halloween. To remedy this, he decides he wants to go the route of his victim from the year before, Carly Beth, and get a terrifying Halloween mask to wreak havoc around the neighborhood. However, he soon finds that he should've been more careful about what he wished for. Before he knows it, his night of chaos soon becomes a night of torment, and he'll go to almost any length to get back to normal.

On this episode, former Green Beret Louis Stevens returns to his old High School in Miami, only to find that it's overrun with crime, drugs, and truancy! Set out to make a difference in his own backyard, he enlists the help of one of his former teachers and finds support from an old flame, in an effort to try and turn some of the school's most dangerous students around using the Brazilian art of Capoeira. However, Louis's success in rehabing the troubled teens is almost ruined after crossing paths with local gangs, with one gang leader in particular determined to make Louis's life a living hell.

After being double crossed by the FBI agents out to protect him, It'll take the help of a gruff Chicago cop, his intelligence officer, and Jake's own ass-kicking martial arts skills to clear his name, and bring the drug lords to justice!

This week, we're back at it with another entry in March-ial Arts Month! Mr. Miyagi is back to impart his wisdom on another troubled teen, only this time, it's a girl named Julie. After the death of her parents, Julie has been nothing but rebellious towards her Grandma, and has continuously been in trouble at school, even landing on the radar of the school's paramilitary watchdog group, and their psycho leaders. Julie's only solace is the time she spends with an injured hawk she found on school grounds, and secretly keeps on the roof of the school. After Mr. Miyagi intervenes in Julie's life, the once resistant Julie lets her guard down, and heads Miyagi's wisdom and learns how to cope with her anger, find inner peace, and pull out inner strength.
She also starts smoochin' on a boy, and has a showdown with a dime-store version of Ben Stiller at the docks. It's the Next Karate Kid, this week on the Radkast!

This week, we KICK off this year's March-ial Arts Month! Dolph Lundgren is a California cop who had been raised in Japan. The half Chinese half white playing half Japanese half white Brandon Lee, is his new partner. The two are on the case of Yoshida, a dangerous criminal now running drugs through a brewery in Little Tokyo. The first time the police team find themselves in front of Yoshida, Dolph Lundgren notices the tattoo on the kingpin's chest, and his memory is triggered to when Yoshida killed Dolph's parents. Now a mission to put Yoshida behind bars, becomes a mission for revenge.
Blood, boobs, and bullets abound, plus a few one liners thrown in for good measure! It's Showdown in Little Tokyo, this week on the Radkast!

We also discuss what aliens think of Jesus, we ask where exactly do the children go after leaving the Comman Center, and Dr. Phil makes a surprise guest appearance in this straight-to-video special that proved that not all MMPR media was a hit.

After being caught, then later owning up to his thievery, Bart must deal with the consequences of his actions, and find out what it takes to rectify them.

This week, it's the start of our favorite time of year, and the return of Five Weeks of Fright! In the first entry into this year's festivities, it's a sequel many thought shouldn't have been made. Despite push back, it was produced and provided the introduction of a horror icon! Five years after the events of the first film, a counselor training facility opens up across from the defunct Camp Crystal Lake. A group of prospective counselors, including resident wise ass Ginny, and the camp owner Paul live it up at the facility before having to get down to work. However, their good time comes to a screeching halt when the town legend Jason Voorhees appears to the group in the flesh.
A horny couple kabab, an invalid with a machete to the face, and another classic jump scare, this film packs a punch! All of this, plus two old friends join us for a new chapter in FWOF history! It's Friday the 13th Part 2, this week on the Radkast!

So they hatch a hair brained scheme to advertise their father as single and ready to mingle by using a billboard. After being inundated with responses, their father ends up finding a romantic partner unexpectedly. However, in the way is their dad's greedy agent, who's using his client's art for underhanded means. There's also a rapping friend, a troubled bleached blonde boy, and a diving team coach.

137: SepTWINber: Switching Goals

This week on the show, we dive into the Olsen twins film catalog once again for another entry into SepTWINber! In this flick, the girls play Sam and Emma. Sam is a tomboy and is her competitive father's pride and joy, while Emma is a girly-girl, and lacks her father's attention. When a youth soccer league goes co-ed, the twin's dad doesn't sweat it too much because he'll have Sam to play for him. However, the girl's mother forces their dad to draft Emma in order to make her feel included. When a another coach picks Sam, both girl's find that neither of them are in their ideal situation. So the girls hatch a scheme to switch teams and deceive their mom. With their dad playing along, it isn't long before Mom finds out.

130: SLY JULY: Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot

This week, it's another entry in Sly July! On this episode, we talk a movie that Sylvester regrets making, and we pretty much regret watching. Stallone plays Joe, a 40 something police officer whose Mom shows up unannouced and starts getting all up in his bitness. What is supposed to be played as charming is anything but. Joe's mom emotionally suffocates him, then plays the victim when Joe asks for space. Joe's mom finds herself in the middle of a murder investigation, which reveals an insurance scam. The main conflict takes a backseat to Joe's mom being an overbearing nuisance. However, we are not to feel bad for Joe, because at the end of the day he's a spineless mama's boy who only proves he can't make any positive momentum in life without her.
We'd say we felt sorry for Sly for getting roped into this mess, but he probably got paid more money then we'll see in our life time. So he can wipe his tears with his wad of hundreds, and we'll just suffer through Stop! Or My Mom Will Shoot, this week on the Radkast!

129: SLY JULY: Demolition Man

This week on the show, Sly plays cavalier police officer John Spartan, who ends up in a cryo prison due to an incident on the job. In the year 2032, the city of San Angeles is a utopia where all manner of violence has been all but erradicated. However, the peace of this brave new world is about to be disrupted when notorious criminal, and ultimate cause of Spartan's imprisonment, Simon Phoenix is freed to snuff out a potential threat to the city's order. Phoenix goes rouge and starts wreaking havoc the likes the city's police force has never experienced. The only way to combat this is by freeing John Spartan to face off against his old foe. Thanks to the help of a supportive teacher, her wise uncle, his father, and his classmate crush, Barry overcomes the school bully, a pompous karate instructor, and learns when you find strength within yourself and see you're cared for, the real world is a far better place to live! Oh, and you may actually get to fight alongside your hero one day. No promises though.

In this action packed, explosion heavy "spot fest" of a film, former Marine John Triton is restless after being honorably discharged from the Corps. After he is fired from his job for shotputting someone through a window, he and his wife decide to get away for a while. What starts as a relaxing excursion into the mountains, turns into his wife being taken as a hostage, a firey car chase, and John in pursuit of the criminals through some marshy backwoods. All of this plus the writers really wanting to get a dumbass joke about rock candy over, as we talk The Marine, this week on The Radkast!
